About Leake Auction
Leake Auction
Meet the Team
Leake Auction is a family-run operation built on shared passion, trust, and hands-on experience. Led by Joel Leake, the team brings together deep knowledge of vintage signs, collectibles, and auction operations with a commitment to integrity and personal service.
Joel is joined by his brother, Nate Leake, who plays a key role in day-to-day operations, logistics, and on-the-ground support during auctions. Rounding out the team is Joshua “Moge” Chupik, whose attention to detail and behind-the-scenes work helps ensure each auction runs smoothly from setup to final hammer.
Together, the Leake Auction team works closely to curate quality consignments, communicate clearly with buyers and sellers, and deliver a professional, trustworthy auction experience every step of the way.
Meet the Owner
Joel Leake
Joel Leake discovered his love for vintage signs and old Americana at an early age, spending weekends traveling to sign and swap shows with his dad. What started at 16 as a shared hobby quickly became a lifelong passion. Now 26 and based in Central Texas, Joel has spent the last decade immersed in the world of vintage advertising and collectibles, driven by a deep appreciation for history, craftsmanship, and the stories behind every piece. A Christian and family-oriented business owner, Joel approaches his work with honesty, integrity, and respect—values that shape both his life and the way Leake Auction operates.
